The programmes for Poetry and Prose have been custom designed by specialist curriculum writers to fully address the scope of Upper Secondary exams. Experienced Trainers use a range of contemporary interactive techniques to enable students of varying abilities work with carefully material to empower students with inferential techniques and skills that will be vital for their 'O' Level examinations.

The 5-module programme, each with a relevant theme, each focused on particular literary devices. It uses a process that encompasses appreciation of a variety of poems and prose from different genres to training students to write cogent and well-substantiated responses to questions about poetry and prose that are sustained, literary and well-expressed. Students learn how to use substantiated quotations and how to structure their essays.

For Prose the process trains students Identify, Understand and Explain the effects of pertinent literary devices inherent in the passages, as well as to Establish their Mood and Tone of prose passages, and Describe the Thoughts and Feelings of characters. While in Poetry it trains them Identify, Understand and Explain the Effects of inherent Literary Devices, learn contemporary techniques for analyzing poetry and learn to discern the structure, mood and tone of any poem.

The participatory style of the programme makes for a fun experience throughout an intense learning process.
