From ideas-storming to completing a relatively simple production, the programme guides Secondary students through the basics of film making, teaching them to conceive and create a worthy short film and become 'Filmsmiths' by their own right.
Students learn to look for film Ideas from the world around them then evaluate and make practical plans to acquire Resources for a "do-able" enterprise. they learn to form teams that will look after various "departments" that need to work together to create a production.
Getting guided to make rough Scripts and Dialogues they learn to use basic Camera techniques and fundamentals of the elements of Sound, Graphics, etc that have to come together for Post-Production.
The programme includes a film bibliography for viewing and understanding genres, styles, etc, and a segment for students to get an overview of contemporary developments in production.
Each student receives a memorable certificate of participation.
