Following either a Writer's Craft Poetry, or Short Stories or Plays programme this extension is used to train students to dramatise their written work for performance to their peers.
Selections from the works of students are shaped into a performance giving due regard to the abilities of students.
Language Arts' teacher/s assume the role of Director, Production Designer, and Stage Manager to assist the students rehearse, supervise easily obtainable costumes, props, music, etc that students assemble.
Students are deeply involved in the processes of converting their work into scripts and learn basics of technical aspects while also developing performance skills.
 For the processes to synchronise institutions and Language Arts would typically select themes (such as the institution's or NE goals or from a curriculum text) before commencing the creative writing programme.
